Etampes school

Guided by Philippe Lejeune, the portrait course at the Atelier de la Vigne, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, became the ritual meeting place for a group of young painters: Christoff Debusschère, Geneviève Decroix, Joël Giraud , Nathalie Gobin, Jean Marc Idir, François Legrand, Roger Piquet, Jacques Rohaut and Robert Verluca.

These painters, who form the first generation of this group, are today renowned artists, distinguished by numerous prizes and exhibited in numerous galleries in France and abroad.
Other student painters, equally talented,
will follow one another over the years and will benefit from a remarkable apprenticeship with the Master, Philippe Lejeune.

The Members of the Etampes Artistic Society present at the heart of the fair an exhibition of Postal Art bringing together 90 original works to celebrate this 90th Anniversary Fair.

On the occasion of this Art Postal exhibition, the Société Artistique d’Étampes and all the participating members undertake to donate for each work sold, 20 euros to the Association Ligue contre le Cancer de l’Essonne as part of Pink October for breast cancer screening.
